Intersections: Artist residency for City of Portland Archives & Records Center
Artists living in the Portland Metropolitan Area producing work in visual, performing, literary and/or media arts are invited to submit qualifications for an artist-in-residence project at the City of Portland Archives and Records Center.
This is the first in a series of residencies for Archives. The selected artist/team will create work in any media that engages and/or is a result of working with the collections and staff at the facility. The project budget is $25,000.
Visit the Archives at 1800 SW 6th Avenue, Suite 550.
Artists interested in applying for this opportunity are encouraged to visit and tour Archives at one of the following times:
Saturday, October 6, 2012, 10:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. No reservations needed. Portland Archives is participating in the Third Annual Oregon Archives Crawl.
Tuesday, October 23, 2012, 2:30 p.m. to 3:30 p.m. Email reservations needed by October 22, 2012. Send reservation to firstname.lastname@example.org with subject line “Visit Archives”. In the body please say how many are in your party.
Application deadline is Monday, November 12, 2012 by 5:00 p.m.
